Apostle Harris answered his call to go forth and preach the Gospel in 1990. He has been on the battlefield for the Lord ever since. He has been blessed to travel to foreign countries to spread the gospel.
Apostle Harris is a very humble man who stands tall in the name of his Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. He walks in his calling of the fivefold ministry. He has often been told that he has a powerful anointing on his life and that anointing is seen every time he stands to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Apostle Harris was born in Brooklyn, NY and his parents later moved to Raeford, NC. He is the second, oldest son born to the late John Lewis Harris and Catherine Harris. He graduated from Hoke County High School in Raeford, NC. Apostle Harris later joined the military and completed his tour of duty with an honorable discharge. He has traveled overseas to spread the Gospel to many foreigners and
they gave their lives to the Lord.
Apostle Harris obtained his Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Carolina College of Biblical Studies and his Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
He is the proud husband of a virtuous woman, Lisa J. Harris. He is the father of five beautiful daughters and two handsome sons. He is the proud Papee of thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

PASTOR LISA J. HARRIS
Associate Pastor
Pastor Lisa Harris is the Associate Pastor at Blessed Assurance in Christ Ministries, where she serves with a deep passion for ministry and a heart dedicated to empowering others. With a strong calling to minister to women, she founded Sistas 2 Sistas and Sistas In Spirit, two organizations committed to uplifting and supporting women and young girls. Through these ministries, she provides mentorship, guidance, and spiritual enrichment, equipping women with the tools they need to grow in faith, confidence, and purpose. Her compassionate leadership and dedication to fostering healthy relationships and strong communities have made a lasting impact on those she serves. She surrounded to the Lord and answered her call to go forth and preach the Gospel in 1989.
Pastor Harris was born in Brooklyn, NY, and her parents later moved to Red Springs, NC. She is the oldest child born to the late James "Bobby" and Everline Johnson. She graduated from Red Springs High School in Red Springs, NC. She obtained her Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary. She is currently attending Carolina College of Biblical Studies to obtain her Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies.
She is the mother of five beautiful daughters and two handsome sons. She is the proud Nonee of thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Elder John L. Johnson
Associate Pastor
Elder John Johnson is one of the Associate Ministers of Blessed Assurance in Christ Ministries in Fayetteville, NC. He is a native of Shellman, GA and is the son of the late Mr. John L. Brown and Mrs. Lillie B. Robinson, he has five siblings. He graduated in 1968 from Shellman Vocational High School in Shellman, GA.
In 1999, Elder Johnson was called to minister and was licensed. He was ordained as an Elder in 2000. He holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science and Criminal Justice Technology, an Associate Degree in General Education from Fayetteville Technical Community College, and an Associate Degree in Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry from Heritage Bible College in Dunn NC.
Elder Johnson is married to Mrs. Cynthia A. Johnson; they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Crystal J. and Kewonna T., and six grandchildren. Elder Johnson studies the Word of God for the calling on his life in ministry which comes from Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”
